The Onatru Fresh Program
Through the Onatru Fresh Program, we ensure fresh seafood and cut-to-order meats are shipped Overnight or 2nd Day Air, depending on the option you select at checkout. We do not ship perishable items via Ground like other companies do — ever.
All products are clearly identified as fresh or frozen, so customers know exactly what they are receiving.
Your order may arrive in multiple packages, depending on where each item is fulfilled — New York or Florida — to ensure peak freshness, proper handling, and the fastest delivery times.
Additionally, we may ship non-perishable items together or separately from your perishable items, based on what makes the most sense for safety, temperature control, and efficiency.
Our seafood and meats are handled in FDA and USDA inspected partner facilities in New York and Florida. Each perishable item is carefully labeled, temperature controlled, and packed with insulated materials, gel packs, or dry ice to maintain peak freshness from our facility to your door.
Sustainability and Packaging
Most Onatru shipments use TemperPack’s ClimaCell® insulation — an eco-friendly, ecyclable alternative to styrofoam. We believe great food should never come at the cost of the environment — or safety.
