Parmesan is a hard, domestic cheese made through natural fermentation of cow’s milk. The cheese has a mild, nutty, flavor. Parmesan cheese is cured for a minimum of 12 months to develop the flavor, color and texture that are characteristic of aged Parmesan. Shaved cheese cups are gas-flushed and hermetically sealed in polypropylene cups, with twelve 10-ounce cups packed per case. The product meets the standards listed in 21 CFR 133.165. Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
