The lush climates of Colombia allow us to keep our water buffalo on pastures year round. This makes for happy buffalo and happy water buffalo make wonderful milk and cheese. We are 100 percent grass fed for 365 days of the year. Our attributes include: free of lactose, 58 percent higher levels of calcium, Rich in omega 3 fatty acids, less cholesterol ( 43 percent less found only in the milk of water buffalo), our rennet is 100 percent vegetarian. Buf Creamery is the only NON gmo verified creamery. We make mozzarella, ricotta, halloumi and burrata in our state of the art facility in Colombia. Processing & Shipping
Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
