Gourda is a traditional, mild and semi-soft cheese of Dutch origin. It is named after the city of Gouda in the Netherlands. Castello Gouda is made with homogenized part-skim milk and is a sweet-curd cheese similar to the Edam it contains more fat. Pleasantly cream, full-flavored with a nutty, butter flavor and touch of sweetness. Gouda can be enjoyed on its own or a great mild addition to any cheeseboard. Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
