Colavita Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP is a certified product of Modena, Italy where the tradition of balsamic vinegar has been perfected over generations. The IGP designation awarded by the Italian government certifies that Colavita Aged Balsamic Vinegar is a true product of Modena, and that it is prepared according to stringent and traditional methods. Crafted in the artisan-style, this vinegar contains a high level of cooked grape must and is aged for three years in a series of oak, cherry, and walnut barrels. This rich, aromatic vinegar makes flavorful dressings and marinades and is a perfect compliment for fresh fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, strawberries, or asparagus.
