The Colavita Pasta company was founded in 1912 in the small hilltop town of Sant'Elia a Pianisi, in Molise, Italy a region where the rolling hills are still today covered by golden fields of wheat. The Colavita family draws upon the resources of their homeland, Molise, to produce superb pasta using only 100% durum wheat semolina and fresh mountain spring water with no salts or artificial ingredients added. Processing & Shipping
Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
