Almond paste is characterized as having a sweet and balanced almond flavor and is prepared from select grades of almonds grown in California. After blanching, the almonds are ground and then cooked with pure granulated cane sugar to a smooth paste. Almond paste is not the same as marzipan, the latter has a higher proportion of sugar, which makes it sweeter, smoother, and more pliable.

Processing & Shipping
Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
