Mountaire is a vertically integrated farm that controls every aspect of production from hatcheries to feed mills, grow-out barns to processing. They are known for sustainably producing jumbo birds. They are also One Health Certified; a program designed by Iowa State University and recognized by USDA which focuses on animal welfare and disease prevention. To create party wings, chicken purveyors break down the whole wing, first removing the tip, then dividing the meat into the drumette and the flat. This makes for faster, more consistent cooking, whether roasting, grilling, or frying, as well as easier serving.

Processing & Shipping
Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
