Green Hill is a double-cream cow's milk cheese, aged for approximately 2 weeks. This special cheese has a white, bloomy rind and a rich and smooth, velvety flavor with hints of fresh grass. Inside the beautiful rind you'll find a bright yellow cheese, caused by the higher butterfat composition in the milk due to rotational grazing at Sweet Grass Dairy's farm in southern Georgia. This crowd-pleaser is a Sweet Grass Dairy original, already receiving 8 major awards at various American Cheese Society Competitions. Green Hill is handcrafted and has a subtle mushroomy flavor with a silky texture that pairs well with honey, fruits, preserves and nuts. As for drinks, Sweet Grass Dairy suggests to pair the cheese with a Champagne or sparkling wine. The combination of the bubbles and the rich creaminess of the cheese are wonderful. Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
