This DOP protected cheese is named after the river of the same name. Milk is sourced from cows grazing in the valley by the river, where the cheese is also produced and aged. The rich high protein milk is particularly apt for cheesemaking and imparts the special sweetness that makes this cheese unique. This firm, cooked, pressed cheeses is made from two milkings. Akin to a younger Parmigiano Reggiano, Piave’s paste will become more crumbly and its nutty and fruity notes of pineapple will become more intense with age. View Item Spec Sheet

- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
