The Abbruzze DB Cheese Spread is a spicy spread for the most discerning snacker. With a rich cheddar base for spreading, dipping, or even cooking, this is definitely Philadelphia’s new classic. Our founders, Danny and Joe DiBruno, hail from Abruzzo, Italy (back of the mid-calf, using the traditional boot model), lending their homeland’s name to many of our favorite products. Sun-dried diavolino (“little devil”) peppers are the ubiquitous seasoning in this region. Though South Philadelphia may be a far cry from the lush pastoral vistas of Abruzzo, Danny and Joe chose to evoke their native seasoning tossing a healthy sprinkle of red chiles into dishes that have become local classics. Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
