Sun-Ni’s founder moved to the U.S. in 1925 and started making traditional Armenian cheeses from his homeland. This string cheese stretched and braided to create that perfectly peel-able texture, and seasoned with salt and a small shake of black nigella seeds, traditional to Armenian string cheese. The seeds don’t impart too much flavor, but do add a lovely black speckled appearance to the cheese. Great for snacking or melting, this cheese is perfect for working into a cheese plate or meze platter. It pairs beautifully with other Middle Eastern favorites like pita, olives, pistachios, dates, hummus, honey, etc. Peel off just what you need, and save the rest for later. Yum!

Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
