In order to be labelled DOP, San Marzano tomatoes must be grown in the Valle del Sarno, near Naples in Italy. Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
