Imported Swiss 7oz. shingle pack. Swiss cheese is a Simi hard yellow cheese with a mildly nutty flavor, and a subtle aroma of hay, and holes of varying sizes. Swiss cheese often appears in cartoons featuring mice but contrary to the animated notion, the holes do not represent a mouse's snake . Theories differ, but one school of though is that bacteria consumes the milk lactic acid and then releases carbon dioxide gas bubbles, that get traped as the paste hardens leaving the holes. Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
