Farmer's cheese originated on farms as a way to use milk left over after skimming the cream for butter. Two main styles evolved: a fresh cheese similar to cottage cheese, and a semi-soft version cured for a shorter time. New Bridge brand Farmer's cheese is a semi-soft, rindless white cheese which is firm but springy in texture with a mild, milky and buttery flavor which may be used in a way likened to Colby or Cheddar. Farmer's cheese has a creamy, smooth texture, also similar to Havarti. Farmer's melts beautifully, making it a wonderful addition to any grilled cheese or burger. In the Upper Midwest Farmer's cheese is a semi-soft white cheese made from part-skim milk, making it considered lower in fat and sodium than other cheeses. View Item Spec Sheet

Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
