The perfect mixture of lavender buds and fennel pollen creates sweet notes that are offset by a pleasing, subtle acidity. This unusual chevre took first place in the American Cheese Society&#39;s 2005 competition. Because of it&#39;s underlying sweetness we suggest serving Purple Haze with savory/salty olive bread and a hearty Zinfandel wine.
