Niman partners with small, family-run farms for their proteins. This is pasture-raised, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Angus Beef, raised humanely and with sustainable practices. Cut from the chuck section just below the front leg, the Teres Major (also known as chuck tender or petit tender) is gaining in popularity. Its tenderness is second only to the tenderloin, but because of its location on the cattle, its flavor is bolder and beefier. The Teres Major is an excellent candidate for quick searing, but keep in mind that it needs extra resting time.

Orders placed before 4:30 PM Eastern on Friday through Sunday ship on Monday.
Orders placed after 4:30 PM Eastern on Sunday ship on Tuesday.
Orders ship on the following schedule:
- Next Day Air (perishable Only): Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Day Air: Monday – Wednesday
- Ground (Dry Goods Only): Monday – Friday
Fresh and frozen items ship via expedited air service (1–2 Day Air) and are packed in ClimaCell insulated containers with plant-based ice packs.
Larger bulk orders may ship in insulated Styrofoam containers for added protection.
All perishable products are sourced from USDA and FDA inspected facilities and handled according to strict food safety standards.
