Fished by traditional line and hook methods (dolphin free), and cleaned by hand, this exceptional white meat tuna comes from the Bay of Biscay in Northern Spain. The solid texture and hearty flavor of Bonito is very different from regular albacore tuna. It is packed in high quality Spanish olive oil, giving it that something extra that will easily convert you! Arroyabe is a family-owned company located in Bermeo, a coastal town of the Basque region with a long fishing tradition. They purchase their fish fresh directly from the fisherman as they return from the sea early each morning.
